Corvette Of The Day: 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Custom Split Window Coupe

This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Custom Split Window Coupe is a creation by Legacy Innovations, LLC in York, Pennsylvania. It made its debut at the SEMA show and packs a powerful punch with a supercharged 638 HP ZR1 LS9 engine paired to a Tranzilla T56 6-speed transmission, complete with custom stainless steel headers and stainless side pipes.

The car sits on a Legacy Innovations TIG welded tube chassis, featuring Detroit Speed rack and pinion steering and an Ididit steering column. The rear suspension boasts Detroit Speed Quadralink setup and a 9-inch Ford rear end with a Strange S-Trac aluminum 3.73 Positraction differential. Stopping power is courtesy of Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with engraved calipers, while Redline Mickey Thompson SR Radial tires grip the road beneath Billet Specialties Beadlock wheels adorned with 1063 Knock-off cones and spinners.

It’s been recognized as a Goodguys Street Machine finalist and awarded Best Pro Street at the East Coast Indoor Nationals. It boasts a custom leather interior with 1967 headrests and comes with  air conditioning, hidden custom stereo, power windows, power locks with remote control, and ceramic coating throughout.
