Chevrolet announced the 2019 Corvette ZR1 at the Dubai Auto Show on November 12, 2017. As with the Corvette Z06, the ZR1 intentions were purely racetrack oriented. While capable of boulevard cruising or even grocery getting, the first priority for the ZR1 is track day dominance. The price was $119,995.

The most notable advancement of the 2008 Corvette model year was the news that Chevrolet had developed another evolution of its legendary small-block engine. The new engine was designated the LS3, and would become the standard engine.

The Corvette model range was further extended for 2011 with the introduction of the Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition. The new Carbon can be thought of as existing between the standard fare Z06 and the top of the line ZR1.

A new color, Carlisle Blue Metallic, was introduced in 2012. Also included were new Silver-painted Torque 2 wheels and Pearl White full-length racing stripes. This was a nod to the great Corvettes at Carlisle event held in August every year.

In terms of what is new, Black is back as well as the new color we told you about which is officially called “Night Race Blue Metallic”. The other major 2013 additions which have already been seen are the 427 Convertible and the 60th Anniversary Package.
