This iconic 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Split-Window Coupe, currently listed on Bring a Trailer, remains one of the most desirable examples of the C2 Corvette despite the rear split-window design being produced for just a single model year. Factory-rated at 300 horsepower, the engine features a single four-barrel carburetor and retains matching engine stampings, with the sequence corresponding to the final six digits of the vehicle’s VIN. The RD suffix further confirms its original specification as a 300-horsepower manual-transmission application.
The fiberglass body showcases the hallmark styling elements that made the 1963 Sting Ray revolutionary, including concealed flip-up headlights, sculpted fender vents, quad taillights, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust outlets integrated into the rear valance.
