The mid-engine C8 Corvette has unlocked a fresh level of performance, powered by a formidable 6.2L V8 engine. Known as the LT2, this engine delivers 495 horsepower at 6,450 RPM and 470 lb-ft of torque at 5,150 RPM, paired with a specially designed Tremec 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
With the optional Z51 Performance Package, the LT2 propels the 2024 Corvette from 0 to 60 MPH in just 2.8 seconds. The Z51 package is distinguished by unique Carbon Flash aero enhancements, including a front splitter, high rear spoiler, and rocker extensions.
This track-focused option also includes upgraded disc brakes with red calipers, a sportier suspension featuring Magnetic Ride Control, a dual-mode performance exhaust, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on 19- and 20-inch Trident five-spoke Sterling Silver wheels, an electronic limited-slip differential with a performance axle ratio, and heavy-duty cooling.
