This 2012 Chevrolet Corvette is one of 206 Centennial Special Edition ZR1 coupes produced to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Chevrolet. This exclusive edition, available for all Corvette models, featured a distinctive look – Carbon Flash Metallic exterior, Satin Black graphics, Satin Black wheels with red brake calipers. The wheels themselves were remarkable, crafted from lightweight cast spun alloys, featuring a subtle red outline along the perimeter, setting them apart from any other Corvette wheel.
A unique logo depicting Louis Chevrolet, complete with goggles and a bold “100” behind him, adorned the B-pillar hoop and the center caps of the wheels. Additionally, the iconic crossed checkered-flag Corvette logos proudly displayed the number 100.
The interior of the Centennial Edition was just as meticulously designed as the exterior, featuring ebony leather upholstery with exquisite red stitching and microfiber suede inserts on the seats, steering wheel, and shift knob.
Under the hood, the car was powered by a supercharged 6.2L/638 HP LS9 V-8 engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The distinct exhaust note, emitted through the quad-tip exhaust system, made the car instantly recognizable. Loaded with features, the Centennial Edition ensured passenger comfort with heated seats, an AM/FM stereo system, navigation, air conditioning, power seats, windows, mirrors, locks, and comprehensive instrumentation.
