This C1 Corvette Restomod Is A Classic Reborn

In this video Shawn Davis, the host of AutotopiaLA YouTube channel, meets up with his friend Paul Bosserman, the owner of Old Anvil Speed Shop to checkout a stunning 1961 Chevrolet Corvette. This particular Corvette isn’t your average classic car. While it retains the charm of its era, it boasts a treasure trove of modern upgrades.

The car began life as a C1 Corvette, not Paul’s favorite generation, but the presence of an LT4 engine under the hood piqued his interest. They discovered the car in rough shape, having sat for a long time with an unclear vision from the previous owner.

Old Anville Speed Shop took over the project and transformed the Corvette into an elegant masterpiece. The Mercedes-colored paint with hints of blue, purple, and pink shimmers in the sunlight. The car features a unique blend of C1 and Stingray design cues, evident in the front and rear styling.

Under the hood lies the heart of the beast – an LT4 engine and 8-speed automatic transmission from a 2018 Z06 Corvette. The Corvette also sports a custom-made air intake system, intercooler, and Wilwood brakes for superior performance.
