2026 Corvette E-Ray Stars & Steel Limited Edition Heads to Mecum Auction

The final Stars & Steel Limited Edition Corvette

Scheduled for Mecum Auctions on September 26, this 2026 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray Stars & Steel Limited Edition Convertible represents a distinctive blend of American heritage, electrified performance, and limited-production exclusivity. With just 701 miles, this example is the final No. 250 of 250 Stars & Steel Limited Editions produced, a series created to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States. Only 50 were E-Rays, making this car particularly significant.

The E-Ray is the first Corvette to combine electrification with all-wheel drive, pairing Chevrolet’s naturally aspirated 6.2-liter LT2 V-8 with a 160-hp electric motor mounted at the front axle. The combustion engine drives the rear wheels while the electric motor powers the front wheels, delivering a combined 655 hp and all-wheel traction. An eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission manages the powertrain, enabling a claimed 0-to-60-mph time of just 2.5 seconds.

According to the Bowling Green, Kentucky, production plant, this car is a one-of-one build and one of only 15 Arctic White Stars & Steel E-Ray convertibles. Its specification includes Magnetic Selective Ride Control, stability and traction management, an adjustable front axle lift with height memory, and carbon-ceramic brakes equipped with Edge Red-painted calipers. Gloss Black five-spoke forged wheels are fitted with GarageLine 20mm rear spacers.

The Arctic White exterior receives ceramic coating and XPEL paint-protection film across the body panels and windshield. American flag-inspired graphics reinforce the commemorative theme, while an ACS Composite Carbon Flash front splitter, oversized mud and rock guards, radiator grille guards, and Paragon Performance underbody air deflectors provide additional visual and functional enhancements. A power-retractable hardtop completes the convertible configuration.

Inside, the Santorini Blue cabin is ceramic-coated and accented by Torch Red seat belts, premium carpeted floor mats, signature door-sill plates, and insignia flags commemorating “1776-2026.” The engine compartment features an appearance package, specification plaque, Edge Red engine cover and fluid caps. The car is accompanied by its original applicable parts and window sticker.
