Up for sale on Cars & Bids is a fully restored and modified second-generation 1965 Corvette. The C2 Corvette is celebrated for its sharp styling, improved weight distribution, and four-wheel independent suspension, with the original coupe debuting a signature split rear window.
This example was restored and upgraded by The Bowtie Shop in Billerica, Massachusetts, and now features a high-performance 302-cubic-inch V8, paired with a Muncie M22 4-speed manual transmission and a Posi-Traction rear end for confident power delivery.
Mechanically, it’s equipped with TRW pistons, a COMP Cams camshaft, 292 cylinder heads, Holley electronic fuel injection, stainless steel exhaust headers, Bilstein shocks, tubular control arms, and a Hydratech Hydroboost braking system with Corvette Z06 four-wheel discs. MagnaFuel pump, Aero Tec Labs fuel cell, Borgeson power steering, Hurst shifter, and Vintage Air A/C round out the performance upgrades.
The exterior has been enhanced with a blue-and-white repaint, wide-body kit, fixed headlights, aftermarket hood, and 18-inch E-T LT-III wheels. Inside, aftermarket seats with custom upholstery, Stroud Safety harnesses, a Flaming River tilting column, a 1963-style instrument cluster, Kenwood touchscreen, upgraded audio, and a rearview camera combine classic Corvette style with modern convenience.
