Ever since the FIA WEC and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest ushered in the LMGT3 era back in 2024, Porsche’s formidable Manthey Racing outfit has held a crushing, iron-clad stranglehold on the class. The German powerhouse treated the world’s most grueling endurance grid like their own personal playground, securing the inaugural 2024 crown before following it up with a dominant, back-to-back masterclass in 2025. Heading into the 2026 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Porsche arrived with confidence and an unmatched target on its back, aggressively hunting for a historic hat-trick of consecutive victories at La Sarthe.
