Now offered on Bring a Trailer, this highly customized 2021 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe represents the inaugural example of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering’s C8 427 Eliminator program. Purchased by the current owner in 2023, the car underwent an extensive transformation the following year at Lingenfelter’s Decatur, Indiana, headquarters, emerging as Lingenfelter C8 427 #001. After completion, it reportedly remained on display within the company’s private collection.
Finished in Elkhart Lake Blue, the Corvette features a striking Nowicki Concept8 widebody conversion with sculpted fiberglass front and rear fender flares. The exterior is further enhanced by a carbon-fiber front splitter, rear diffuser, side skirts, rear spoiler, and an APR Performance carbon-fiber front bumper insert. A removable transparent roof panel, LED lighting, rearview camera, parking sensors, and quad exhaust outlets round out the package, while the bodywork is protected by paint protection film and a ceramic coating.
The aggressive stance is complemented by staggered 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged multi-piece Aerolarri wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Exclusive “Code Blue” and “427 CI #001” branding appears on the wheels, while the center caps identify the car as “1 of 499.” Braking performance has been significantly upgraded with Alcon six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers clamping slotted multi-piece rotors.
Inside, the 3LT cabin combines Tension and Twilight Blue leather upholstery with heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable GT2 sport seats. Carbon-fiber trim, Lingenfelter-branded door sills, an 8-inch infotainment display, navigation, dual-zone climate control, a 14-speaker Bose audio system, Performance Data Recorder, head-up display, and a K40 Platinum 360 radar detector provide a premium, technology-focused driving environment. The digital instrument cluster accompanies a carbon-fiber steering wheel with paddle shifters, while the odometer shows approximately 8,500 miles.
The centerpiece of the build is a completely re-engineered mid-mounted LT2 V8 enlarged to 427 cubic inches. Lingenfelter equipped the engine with CNC-ported cylinder heads, an Eliminator-spec camshaft, dual valve springs with titanium retainers, a Callies forged crankshaft, Mahle forged pistons, Compstar H-beam connecting rods, ARP head studs, Johnson lifters, upgraded injectors, a CHE trunnion kit, Cometic head gaskets, a pTR carbon-fiber intake manifold, long-tube headers, and a Ryft titanium exhaust system. The result is an estimated output of approximately 700 horsepower, delivered through a Tremec eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, limited-slip differential, and heavy-duty GForce Outlaw axles engineered to withstand the substantially increased performance.
