The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 was a groundbreaking achievement, designed to elevate the Corvette brand in terms of power, track performance, and technology, marking the pinnacle of its 66-year production history. It also marked the end of the era of front-engine hyper-Corvettes. Beneath the hood, it boasted Chevrolet’s exclusive LT5 supercharged 6.2L V-8 engine, pushing the Corvette’s supercharging legacy further with an astounding 755 horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque, setting a new Chevrolet production vehicle power record.
A single-owner ZR1 is now up for auction on PCARMARKET by its Pennsylvania-based seller, boasting just under 1k miles on the odometer. It comes with the ZR1 Sebring Orange Design Package, that features Sebring Orange Tintcoat paint, ZR1 Carbon Flash-painted aluminum wheels, orange calipers, orange-painted striped ground effects, and a blackout roof decal. The ZR1’s aerodynamics, compared to the standard C7 Corvette, were collaboratively designed with Pratt & Miller, operators of the Corvette Racing motorsport team, featuring wider fender flares, a carbon-fiber front splitter, a carbon-fiber “halo” hood with vents, a carbon fiber roof panel, carbon-fiber rocker panel trim, and a carbon-fiber rear wing.
Inside, this ZR1 showcases leather Sport Seats with Sueded Microfiber inserts and orange stitching, part of the Sebring Orange Design Package. With the 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, it boasts 8-way power-adjustable heated and ventilated seats with memory functions, leather-wrapped instrument & door panels, a premium Bose sound system, a performance data and video recorder with navigation, and front curb cameras. Standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, a color heads-up display, an 8” color touchscreen infotainment system, and keyless entry and ignition.
The ZR1 is propelled by a supercharged 6.2L LT5 V8, delivering 755 HP and 715 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through an 8-speed automatic transmission and an electronic limited-slip differential, enabling the ZR1 to accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in under 3 seconds and reach a top speed of over 210 MPH. Performance features comprise a ZR1 suspension package with Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, multi-mode performance exhaust system, an upgraded cooling system with multiple radiators and heat exchangers, a rear-differential cooler, and speed-sensitive power steering. This ZR1 is equipped with the ZTK Track Performance Package, featuring a Performance Ride and Handling Suspension along with an adjustable high-wing spoiler.
This 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 stands as an American supercar with impressive road presence and remarkable performance, its immense power capable of propelling the drop-top from 0-60mph in under three seconds. Yet, the ZR1 also maintains comfort and usability as a long-distance tourer, making it appealing to supercar collectors seeking a well-rounded vehicle that stands out from the crowd.
