At the heart of this ZR1X is a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter LT7 V8 driving the rear wheels, paired with a front-mounted electric motor that powers the front axle. Fed by a liquid-cooled 1.9-kWh lithium-ion battery, the hybrid system produces a factory-rated 1,250 horsepower and 973 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and electronic all-wheel-drive system distribute that output, while an electronic limited-slip differential helps optimize traction.
