Is the 4th Iteration of the Grand Sport “the Best” Grand Sport, Ever?

Comparing the C4, C6, C7, and C8 Grand Sport Corvettes

Well, the cat is finally out of the bag! Chevrolet unleashed the 2027 C8 Mid-Engine Grand Sport at the 12 Hours of Sebring in March 2026, and Corvette fans immediately took notice. Chevrolet arranged for five Grand Sport Corvettes to take a parade lap before the race. On the track were the Penske Grand Sport Roadster #1, a 1996 C4 Grand Sport Corvette, a 2010 C6 Grand Sport Corvette, a 2017 C7 Grand Sport Corvette, and the all-new 2027 Grand Sport Corvette. For Corvette enthusiasts, this was a once-in-a-lifetime lineup that connected more than 60 years of Grand Sport history in one dramatic moment. Many fans at Sebring missed the parade lap entirely, but photographers and social media quickly spread images of the historic lineup.
