It retains its original numbers-matching 427 cubic-inch big-block V8 paired with the original four-speed manual transmission.
Restored to exact NCRS specifications, the car has earned two NCRS Top Flight Awards and Bloomington Gold Certification, supported by detailed judging records. First restored in 2017 by a Master NCRS Judge, it later underwent a full rotisserie restoration for a Ronald McDonald House charity raffle, preserving its eligibility for top-tier concours events.
The Rally Red exterior features factory 15-inch steel wheels with correct hubcaps and Firestone blackwall bias-ply tires, chrome bumpers, flip-up headlights, a domed hood with 427 Turbo-Jet badging, vented front fenders, Soft-Ray tinted glass, a driver-side mirror, retractable antenna, and dual exhaust outlets.
Inside, black vinyl upholstery covers the seats, door panels, and dashboard, accented by a teakwood three-spoke steering wheel. The analog gauges include a 160-mph speedometer, 7,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary readouts for fuel, amperage, water temperature, and oil pressure, along with a center clock, Delco AM/FM radio, and original seatbelts.
Power comes from the factory-rated 390-horsepower 427ci V8 producing 460 lb-ft of torque, delivered through the four-speed manual to a Positraction rear differential, complemented by power steering and an off-road exhaust system.
