Now listed on Bring a Trailer, this 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition represents one of the rarest and most track-focused variants of the C7 generation. Developed to commemorate Corvette Racing’s dominance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the limited-production model pays tribute to the championship-winning C7.R race car while translating much of its motorsport character into a road-legal package. Chevrolet built only 650 examples worldwide, with 500 allocated to the U.S. market.
This particular example has covered just 1,400 miles and is equipped with the desirable 3LZ Premium Equipment Group alongside the Z07 Performance Package. Finished in Black over a Jet Black interior, it draws heavily from its racing inspiration through exclusive C7.R styling elements, including a carbon-fiber ground effects package, exposed carbon-fiber hood insert, distinctive graphics, and a carbon-fiber roof panel. Additional exterior highlights include xenon headlights, an adjustable rear spoiler with wickerbill, side fender vents, and quad exhaust outlets.
Rolling on staggered 19- and 20-inch C7.R-specific alloy wheels with signature yellow accent stripes and Jake-logo center caps, the Z06 benefits from Continental performance tires, Magnetic Ride Control, Performance Traction Management, and Chevrolet’s Active Handling System. The Z07 package further enhances capability with massive Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes featuring yellow six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, delivering exceptional stopping performance for both road and track use.
Inside, Competition Sport bucket seats trimmed in Jet Black Nappa leather and microsuede are accented by yellow contrast stitching and embroidered C7.R logos. Carbon-fiber interior trim, a numbered C7.R Edition plaque, a head-up display, Performance Data Recorder, front and rear cameras, keyless entry, automatic climate control, navigation, and a Bose premium audio system combine modern convenience with a distinctly performance-oriented atmosphere.
Power comes from Chevrolet’s supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8, featuring a dry-sump lubrication system and multi-mode performance exhaust. Factory output is rated at 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, delivered to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transaxle paired with an electronic limited-slip differential and a dedicated rear differential cooler.
