After showcasing the C8 ZR1 in multiple drag races on his YouTube channel, DragTimes host Brooks Weisblat finally had the chance to drive the new 2025 Corvette ZR1.

The car is powered by a hand-built 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged LT7 V8 with a flat-plane crank, producing 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque. Chevrolet claims a 0–60 mph time of 2.3 seconds, a quarter-mile run in 9.6 seconds at 150 mph, and a top speed of 233 mph, making it the fastest production Corvette ever.

The example featured in the video came equipped with the ZTK package, giving it an aggressive aero setup, including the massive rear wing. Inside, the car feels familiar to a Z06, but with clear upgrades. The GT3’s seats, yellow belts, stitching, carbon-fiber accents, and redesigned cabin make it feel both refined and performance-focused.

Pricing starts at $174,995 for the coupe and $184,995 for the convertible, though production for 2025 is extremely limited, with fewer than 100 units expected before the switch to the 2026 model year.
