The Story of Sebring Silver
Sebring Silver was the first of the race-track names, on the 1963 Sting Ray’s chart as the only silver of the C2, and it came back for the 1996 Collector Edition — 5,412 cars, every one Sebring Silver Metallic with silver five-spoke wheels — and then as a regular C5 color from 1997 to 2000, with 4,637 cars in 1998.
Quicksilver replaced it for 2001. The 1963 Sebring Silver split-window coupe is one of the most valuable color-and-body combinations of the C2; GM kept no 1963 color counts, so nobody knows how many were built.
