Blade Silver Metallic was offered on the Corvette in 2009–2020, 2026–2027: 14 model years across the C6, C7, C8 generations, and it is on the 2027 order guide. GM’s color counts put 17,826 Blade Silver Corvettes on the road, 2,555 of them in 2016 alone; no per-color records survive for 2026–2027.
Bright silver metallic, the Corvette silver of 2009–2020 and again from 2026. Its share of a year’s production ran from 5 to 11 percent. It was an extra-cost paint (with the edition). The Story of Blade Silver
Blade Silver Metallic replaced Machine Silver for 2009 and ran twelve years, through the C6’s last seasons and the whole C7, as the only silver on the chart. It was never a headline color — five to six percent of production most years — but it was there every year, on the Z06 and ZR1 as much as the Stingray, and it is the silver of the 2019 ZR1 and the 2020 C8 launch.
It was dropped after 2020 for Silver Flare, then returned for 2026 under a new code, GKA, alongside a Blade Silver Matte finish offered with a special edition. The 2027 order guide keeps it.
