Offered with no reserve on Bring a Trailer, this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is a high-spec restomod completed in 2024. Combining classic C2 design with modern engineering, it features a refinished fiberglass body mounted on a custom Street Shop chassis with Art Morrison frame rails, C7-style suspension, QA1 coilovers, and rack-and-pinion steering.
Power comes from a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 crate engine producing 540 horsepower, paired with a GM 4L70E four-speed automatic transmission and limited-slip differential. Supporting hardware includes a fabricated aluminum intake, Holley Terminator EFI, coated headers, and side-exit exhaust.
The exterior is finished in metallic blue with silver stinger stripes, complemented by a white Stayfast top, split chrome bumpers, Detroit Speed electric headlight motors, and 19-inch Schott wheels on Falken Azenis tires. Braking is handled by C7-spec disc brakes with six-piston calipers in front and four-piston units in the rear.
The interior features cream leather upholstery, brown square-weave carpeting, carbon-look dash trim, and Classic Instruments gauges. Comfort and tech include Vintage Air A/C, power windows and locks, a RetroSound Bluetooth stereo, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel.
