The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, listed for sale on Bring a Trailer, represents the ultimate evolution of the seventh-generation, front-engine, rear-wheel-drive Corvette before the model transitioned to its mid-engine successor. Reintroduced to the lineup for 2019, the ZR1 immediately established itself as a formidable performance benchmark, delivering published test figures of 0–60 mph in approximately 3.0 seconds and a remarkable 212 mph top speed.
Its aggressive aerodynamic package includes a clear-coated carbon-fiber front splitter, rocker extensions, vented carbon-fiber hood, and exposed carbon-fiber detailing around the cooling vents and engine cover. Finished in Black, this example is equipped with a prominent rear wing, removable carbon-fiber roof panel, xenon headlights, heated power-adjustable mirrors, and a multi-mode exhaust terminating in four outlets. Chrome-finished 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
Chassis hardware is equally serious, combining Magnetic Ride Control with ZR1-specific performance suspension tuning. Braking performance comes from cross-drilled carbon-ceramic rotors paired with red Brembo calipers at all four corners, providing the stopping capability expected of a car with this level of speed.
Inside, heated and ventilated GT bucket seats feature power adjustment and are upholstered in Jet Black Nappa leather with sueded microfiber inserts. At the heart of the ZR1 is its supercharged and intercooled 6.2-liter LT5 V8. Featuring a 95mm throttle body, dry-sump lubrication, and combined direct- and port-fuel injection, the engine produces a factory-rated 755 horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque. That output is delivered to the rear wheels through a seven-speed manual transmission and electronic limited-slip differential, while a dedicated rear differential cooler helps maintain performance under demanding conditions.
