The 2013 Corvette ZR1 was named the official pace car for the 2012 Indy 500. This marked the 11th time a Corvette has been used as the pace car for the prestigious racing event. The Indy pace car featured 60th-anniversary trim package which includes an arctic white paintwork with silver stripes. It also came with a blue interior with suede leather upholstery.

The Corvette ZR1 was equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that was good for 638 hp and can run from 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds. Use of carbon fiber for the bodywork helped lowered the curb weight of the ZR1 at 3,353 pounds.
